MIRROR MIRROR

"Magic mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" Who is not familiar with the dialogue on this one? Quoted from one of the most popular stories of all time, Snow White, it was hardly a man who did not know. So The Snow White, a variety of filmmakers from around the world were exploiting it all out in the film, from the adaptation of a very adherent to the original story to which a free adaptation, of a special form of animation to the family consumption of adult films. Tarsem Singh, who has just released the Immortals, apparently went along with this interest in the fairy tale. Director who has a strong characteristic in this colorful visuals that have to deal with Rupert Sanders is apparently also fascinated by the beauty of the princess. Both, both released the film version of Snow White in this year. While Sanders was still busy putting the finishing touches to his version, Singh has a step further by throwing early to market with the title of Mirror Mirror. Powered by Julia Roberts, Lily Collins, Armie Hammer, Nathan Lane, and Sean Bean, this project looks promising.

And if it seems Mirror Mirror? Well, depending on the expectations you put on film. For me, Mirror Mirror is one of the best work of Tarsem Singh. Having been repeatedly let down by previous works are beautiful, but Shining, except for The Fall of course, Singh finally found the right rhythm for the film. Moving on from fairy tales collected by the Grimm Brothers, Mirror Mirror is a free adaptation of Snow White who deliberately tear apart the original storyline for the new channel was built later. Unlike other versions which tend to emphasize the element of romance, Singh version provides more injections of humor. Portion of its primary role was no longer dominated by Snow White (Lily Collins), but handed over to the Evil Queen (Julia Roberts). In order to create a cheerful mood nan fun, then the character was revamped Evil Queen-out so that more than deserve to be called Crazy Evil. Yes, Marc Klein and Jason Keller to position the Queen as a solvent atmosphere is constantly churning stomach audience, though still nasty.
Evil Queen you know someone who is willing to do anything to get what you wanted. She is a woman's lust for power, wealth and recognition. White Snow removal is only because he is considered more beautiful than the Evil Queen by magic glass. Tarsem Singh remains preserved heart of the story as it is, but he put a twist on the motives Evil Queen in Snow White eliminate. Not based on jealousy about physical beauty, but by financial problems. The only way to repair the deteriorating financial condition is to marry Prince Alcott (Armie Hammer) from Valencia who happened to come into the Kingdom. Knowing the fact that Alcott put his heart on Snow White, the Evil Queen was decreed his personal bodyguard, Brighton (Nathan Lane), to kill his step daughter in the woods. Rather than obey his superiors, who felt sorry for Brighton just off Snow White. After his fate was in limbo, Snow White finally met with the seven dwarves depicted completely different to what you know so far. They are not a bunch of dwarves, hard-working, friendly, and fun, but a bunch of bandits. Now you know!
It did not take long for Snow White to win the hearts of dwarves especially with the beauty and charm that he has. It was difficult to refuse requests from the princess. Thus, Snow White and the seven dwarfs were in hand to overthrow the tyrannical regime of the Evil Queen married Prince Alcott once thwarted by the Evil Queen. Which can be given by the Mirror Mirror, but not with the previous films Singh, is an entertaining spectacle of light. Still dominated by the visual-visual colorful pretty awesome nan mostly transmitted through a unique and extraordinary costume design of Eiko Ishioka, once Singh invite you to have fun thanks to Klein and Keller made a script that has a fairly powerful ammunition in making the audience laugh . Accuracy in selecting the players were apparently also played a major role in the success of the film. Both Julia Roberts, Lily Collins, Nathan Lane, and a bunch of actors playing a role dwarf is very fitting in accordance with the demands of the scenario. Flavor-it's hard to imagine they were replaced by another actor. With a duration that is not too long, the storyline is straight to the point, a sprinkling of herbs in a dose of comedy and action proper, and beautiful visuals, Mirror Mirror match as a spectacle enjoyed by families at holiday time. And, lest you miss the bonus scene when the credits start rolling title Lily Collins skills in vocal and dance Bollywood style. It was the best part of this film.
