ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER

Don't be confused with Steven Spielberg's Abraham Lincoln the new version will be released at the end of this year. Timur Bekmambetov's Abraham Lincoln, the same figure menjumput though, did not move from a biography of the 16th president of the United States. Instead, the plot entirely fictitious. Well, not entirely fictional anyway, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is more accurately described as a fictional film that takes the historical background. There are several events, and figures of course, that does exist in real life. Timur Bekmambetov takes this latest film of the basic fiction novel written by Seth Grahame same title-Smith who also lined up a film script writer. In the imagination Grahame-Smith, Abraham Lincoln was not only the president described as a vocal in calling for the abolition of slavery, but also has a dark secret known only to the few. Dark secret of Lincoln is at the heart of the story of a summer action movie that made me yawn several times this width.

As a liberal country that upholds the principle of "freedom of speech and expression", not surprising that a fictional literary figures who profiteer and important events in the history of nations capable of circulating freely with almost no resistance in the United States. Lincoln is the president of the United States with exceptional service large recounted how could have a 'job' as a vampire hunter. Had the main character is Sukarno or Soeharto, what will happen? Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter did not have a provocative story, as long as you watch it with an open mind, of course. In fact, it can be said is very simple and tend to be flat. Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) intend to claim revenge on Jack Barts (Marton Csokas), a vampire who caused her mother died. On his way to find the existence of Barts, met with Henry Lincoln (Dominic Cooper) who save the life of Lincoln after brutally attacked by a vampire. Knowing the plans of Lincoln, Henry offered to help.
 

Assistance provided by Henry in the form of training in how to destroy vampires. Henry also asked Lincoln to change his plan of revenge satisfying emotion than a war in order of humanity. Target is the target of any widespread not only Barts, but also other cruel vampires, including the leader of the vampire, Adam (Rufus Sewell). When running the 'task' as this is a vampire hunter, met with Mary Todd Lincoln (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) who contributed drove him into politics as well as a faithful companion of life in the future. In the early half of the film, Bekmambetov takes viewers to explore the life of the president in times of adolescence. Stocked with the lack of conflict, this phase is quite tedious to follow. The massacre of a number of vampires not managed to increase my desire to continue watching a movie screen with a bright cheerful spirit surge. I started to nod off. What is the difference between Lincoln's vampire hunter Blade in addition to the Lincoln was a president who want to work less at will to serve the blood-sucking? Blade still look good in my eyes, as well as Van Helsing.
After a minute by minute the dull, Bekmambetov began issuing its flagship stance which he had previously trained in Wanted. Serving a stylish visuals that really no longer an innovation is astounding, especially we have just treated to a similar dish in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows the other day. Action packed scenes in slow-motion with a dynamic camera movement, cinematography, editing plus a sweet fast. It is no longer something that is fresh, but still fun to watch. The film starts quite interesting to follow when entering Act III, especially the climax in the middle of speeding train. Somewhat reminiscent of the Wanted indeed, but I do not care as long as I pay a ticket that was not too expensive in vain.  Hordes of vampires in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is not too different from the vampires in the Twilight Saga.
