THE PERFECT HOUSE

I'm sure, Julie (Cathy Sharon), thought "I am the most unfortunate woman in this world," when asked by his superiors to replace the missing co-worker as a tutor at home Madame Rita (Bella Esperance). Julie plans to leave for a month was just a living plan. Like it or not he should accept this work in order to continue mengebulkan kitchen smoke. Delivered by his assistant, Dwi (Wanda Nizar), Julie headed to Madame Rita, which are located in areas remote peak. Since its first meeting with Madame Rita, Julie just an unpleasant impression. Madame Rita is a middle-aged women are cold, and harsh discipline. He forbade his grandson, Januar (Endy Arfian), to get out of the house. Julie never got a clear and logical explanation of the prohibitions imposed on Januar. Secretly, Julie was invited to perform Januar 'prohibited activity' because it did not bear to see Madame Rita to Januar treatment. But the longer the Julie lived in the house, the more he realized that there was something wrong in this house. There is something that is hidden by the occupants of this house.

The Perfect House marks the return of Affandi Abdul Rachman into the realm of thriller after previously absorbed by the project romantic comedies. Like the debut film of similar genre, Search Last, The Perfect House also offers an interesting premise and is able to invite curiosity. Recent Searches investigated when a group of mountain climbers who disappeared in the direction of a mountain, then The Perfect House tries to reveal the mystery behind a magnificent antique house. The Perfect House somewhat reminds me of home Dara, only The Perfect House tend to be more gentle and safe play. Understandable because The Perfect House did not embrace the Slasher horror genre, but the psychological thriller. At some point I had the opportunity to question the sanity of Julie. Has a dim past, it could be what happened in the house Madame Rita is her imagination. But what was really like that? In fact, Affandi Abdul Rachman even make The Perfect House is not only soft but also easy to guess. Tend to be straight without any plot twist that means. There is no attempt to cover up what really happened in that house. Past behavior is not normal by any of the characters and dialogue in the middle of a piece of film, Affandi Abdul Rachman has indirectly opened everything. Immediately, The Perfect House became less interesting to follow especially tense moments that appear too low in number. Tensinya continued to decline until finally a little stretched towards the ending. Affandi processed manuscripts and Alim Sudio is not exactly bad, it's just too plates to the size of the thriller. If only the script writer duo has more heart and insert scenes robber tightly closed mystery, what is raised in the ending may seem brilliant. Character played by Mike Lucock, Yadi, not given the opportunity to contribute more to the story development. Though Yadi described no less mysterious and sinister of Madame Rita. His position as if only as a supplement only. Luckily it had a weak script slightly covered by the cinematography of Faozan Rizal and background music composed by Aghi Narottama and Bemby Gusti capable presented with a right in every scene.
The main strength of The Perfect House actually came from Bella Esperance who brought the role of Madame Rita very well. Character actress who adopted the name The Boy III through Notes has always steal the show at every opportunity. Somewhat reminiscent of the Shareefa Daanish in Dara's house, but no doubt acting Bella Esperance is one of the strongest this year. Cathy Sharon dominance makes almost did not move even though his own acting skills Cathy Sharon is constantly increasing. While Mike Lucock and Endy Arfian also did not disappoint. Mike Lucock could be a 'scene stealer' if the motion is not limited by the script. Even so, The Perfect House is still feasible to get a better appreciation and I would recommend you to watch it in theaters. Although not an impressive movie, The Perfect House seen clearly taken seriously by Affandi Abdul Rachman. It would be ironic if the movie is getting a rather lively reception at Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival is actually responded to cold by local audiences.
