END OF WATCH

Have you ever watched Cops aired by the premium paid, Fox Crime, day after day? The reality of the event following some police officers who were on patrol and they lunge memerlihatkan when struggling with a number of criminals. The third film from David Ayer after Harsh Times and Street Kings were given the title End of Watch has a narrative style that was almost in line with reality show winner of four Emmy nominations it. For about 109 minutes, you will be invited by Brian Taylor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Michael Pena), a partner in the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles down the street in the south where crime is rampant, forcing the officers were deployed to the region to be alert at all times. Ayer told the story of two friends with implementing handheld camera technique that makes the film resemble a reality show. Yes, as I wrote at the beginning of the paragraph, End of Watch reminiscent of Cops. If you are fond of Cops, it is difficult for you to deny the charm of End of Watch.
Unlike most movie mockumentary style, the film avoids Ayer telling a coherent pattern with a symmetrical layout. End of Watch treated like a reality show. As if there was a producer with full authority in determining which events pieces are supposing able to invite the attention of the audience that will be incorporated into the film. That's why the movie jump to and fro. End of Watch the story begins with a 'car chase scene' which is quite exciting where the event was recorded by Brian for his film project. The chase ended after Brian and Mike disastrous rounded up suspects by shooting. The second action was reprimanded by the police, especially Brian's decision to film every breath of life interfere rigger colleagues, especially Van Hauser (David Harbour). Minute by minutes, the audience was led to witness a series of heroic acts - and not infrequently, silly, fun, and annoying - the two main characters of this film.
On the sidelines of a high-risk job routines, Ayer did not forget to introduce the background of Brian and Mike though only limited to their love lives. Mike already has a wife, Gabby (Natalie Martinez). Both are awaiting their first. While Brian who used to mutually couple finally capitulated when meeting with Janet (Anna Kendrick). Packaged in a casual conversation full of humor, suspense subplot is becoming thinner after attending a friend's duo patrolling the area full of events unforeseen. With the hot competition between the cartels of Mexico with black cartel for control of the area, it was clear there was virtually no chance for them to relax. Stop at the curb while sipping coffee and eating donuts? It could be done if Brian and Mike decided to be a lazy cop or a corrupt cop. Fortunately, Ayer did not describe them as such. Brian and Mike told as someone who likes to defy death and take risks while were on duty. This then leads them to the 'villain' of the film is the main .... You have to find out yourself.
It's fun watching a movie where you feel as if it was involved in it. There is no single moment in End of Watch that made me fell limp boredom or yawned at the cinema. Solid cooperation between the cast and crew made the Ayer is able to direct the third film to the fullest. The main strength of the film lies in the script that deserves a thumbs-up in which the dialogues flowing able to describe the intimacy of every character in this film, either Brian, Mike, Gabby, and Janet. From here Ayer build a bond between the audience with every character in this movie. Watching them interact with dialogues that exciting, hilarious, touching at the same time. With the presence of ties, the empathy the audience was automatically grows. Whatever is done by the four main characters this film, I care. I feel close to them know. I feel a part of their life cycle. And it feels good to make a movie.
Chemistry that exists between Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena unusually cohesive, intimate and believable. With the backing of a powerful script and direction from Ayer, they are more shine. Kala watched it, I really made to believe that they are a partner who has been working for years. Judged by how they perform in the field, communicating and joking. Two actresses, Natalie Martinez and Anna Kendrick, appear not to share too much and implies that they are meant to be eye candy, able to compensate Gyllenhaal and Pena. Anna Kendrick once again shouted loudly, "Give me any role, even small ones, I'll eat it up!." Outside of a mature and the scripts and the players are playing nicely, another advantage can be traced from the deft shooting and editing of Dody Dorn.
Indeed, by applying the handheld camera technique that is always moving and full of shocks, the consequences that must be faced is that not all the audience can accept. Quite confusing. If you are easily nauseated, is not likely to throw up. In addition, the angle of view that is sometimes less precise - which should be no cameras perched on some corners considering mockumentary style film carries - was disturbing on several occasions and a little more realistic concepts to tarnish carried Ayer. However, with this technique the audience even more connected with what is presented in front of him. As if what was witnessed was a real event, not a movie. Of course this is futile if it does not get support from other departments, especially the acting and script. Then something reasonable if Ayer cast thanks to the highest actor who has acted natural and built chemistry is convincing and intimate. In the end, End of Watch is not 'another buddy cop movie' with an outdated concept and predictable. Choosing a new approach to this genre by mixing found footage and mockumentary, injecting heart, and balance between action, drama and a bit of 'terror', End of Watch was ended as a simple but delicious dish. It's gripping, intense, and fun. It brought every single one of my emotions out. I highly recommend it.

LOOPER

Once again, one of Hollywood filmmakers presenting predictions about the future in the latest movie garapannya. Not too different from his predecessors, these forecasts are too pessimistic. The economy in the United States collapsed superpower country which impact on the emergence of organizations engaged in criminality. Chaos happens everywhere, even in the imagination of Rian Johnson, has not reached the stage as shown by the Children of Men. 30 years from now, in addition to the destruction of the economic sector, not much changes in physiology. To illustrate a futuristic setting, Rian Johnson adds flying motorcycle, spraying plants future, transparent mobile tablet nan flat, and people who awarded telekinesis ability. As a result of the high 'birth rate' criminals, it emerged a kind of institution that employs a number of people called 'looper' which has a function to get rid of people who are regarded as scum. Unfortunately, these institutions also belong to high profile crime boss that the presence of 'looper' is not a relief for the people.
The 'looper' lucky gets more spotlight in the third film titled homemade Rian Johnson's Looper is Joe Simmons (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Joe worked as a "looper" for a Mafia kingpin in Kansas. In the work, including one dedicated Joe. He piled up thousands of blades of silver, given to him as a reward, as hers to spend old age in France. But the name is also working in the realm of crime, of course, the danger will always lurk and futuristic plans also need to be given up as a failure to anticipate the steps that have great opportunities waiting. The beginning of the disaster that devastated the lives of Joe's ready to start when his partner, Seth (Paul Dano), suddenly appears in her apartment for help. Joe faced with the dilemma of choosing to save a friend or save property. The boss threatened, Joe's silver will be confiscated if it is not handed Seth. The information recorded in the memory of Joe when hiding Seth, the fate of 'looper' being threatened. In the future, the year 2074, appears someone (or something) called The Rainmaker who holds control over all criminal organizations as well as the ambition to eliminate the 'looper'.
It is as if no big deal for Joe because no impact on his personal life. At least that's what resides in the mind before it was overturned the next day. Hours emergence of future targets are in good hands. Joe was already readily available on-site 'execution' with trigger in hand. In his mind, it was the day ordinary as ever. Until then target the highly anticipated 'landed' on the plastic carpet. For a few seconds, he choked. Apparently, the target is the newest ... itself (Bruce Willis)! Looper began the story with the rising tension. The further you are invited into, then the movement graph tensinya increasing too. This is the type of film that you should not know too much about the details. With the information affliction brought into the movie theater, then Rian Johnson rolled mystery little by little will make you feel at home watching a movie screen while trying to guess what will happen next or what happened. Duration of which extends to 118 minutes was no longer a problem.
Watching Looper became one of the most exciting viewing experience I get, at least for this year. Johnson able to integrate thriller, romance, comedy and a bit of spice into a coherent slick. Even brought the genre of science fiction, Johnson was trying his best to avoid the complicated terminology nan meticulous normally a major problem for the lay audience to be able to enjoy the movie of similar genre. Even so, you still are required to concentrate in order to understand what is to be conveyed by the director as a whole. Johnson intentionally spread and let puzzle scattered everywhere for you to organize yourself. This is what makes Looper delicious to eat. For those who expect paced action spectacle full of gunfire and explosions, ready to be disappointed. The increase in tension which I mean in the previous paragraph does not refer to the action, but the mystery surrounding the film. Occasionally it seems confusing, but often Johnson could take me through a phase excited fun. And that was more than enough for me to love this movie. Looper has brought me into an exciting journey full of surprising things in which an intelligent script contains, captivating acting of the players, as well as entertainment content with the right dose.

TAKEN 2

No one guessed if Taken was released four years ago could menggurita at the box office and approximately $ 200 million flowing into account Luc Besson. Liam Neeson as the main star also helped get the profit to its name stuck as the new icon of the action film. The success of this kind is necessary to celebrate. The trick, of course you all already know. Rated as a profitable product, it is mandatory for trading Taken back in shape ... sequel. I liked the first volume. For me, Taken is a suspenseful thriller with a cast of action exciting and interwoven stories that invite curiosity. When the film ended and the lights turned back the cinema, I thought the adventure Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) has ended and he lead a normal life. However, the money has already been said another. Captain in the early volumes, Pierre Morel, just removed and replaced by Olivier Megaton who suddenly becomes the golden boy Besson after working Transporter 3. Substitution director is in fact very influential to the final movie as a whole. Taken 2, although it was not until the end of the movie which is annoying, it is a drastic reduction from the previous films. Too much silliness that it is difficult to take it seriously.
A year after Kim (Maggie Grace) by Bryan Mills freed from the clutches of the ruthless men who trade the pretty girls in Paris, Bryan life should be back to normal ... should. But since this is a continued need more conflict, Besson with colleagues in the department of manuscripts, Robert Mark Kamen, complicates everything. It has the potential to stir audience emotions and attaching the audience with the main character. It's just a 30-minute period that is used to build the story, wasted away. Besides subplot about a lover Kim, Jamie (Luke Grimes), which disturb the tranquility Bryan and Kim failure in the test drive, there is nothing the duo dug deeper by the author. And I look forward to a little flashback narrative about Kim's efforts to overcome the trauma that descend and Bryan continued relationship with his ex-wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen). In the limited time, we see that the home life deteriorated amid Lenore and Stuart. No satisfactory explanation on this matter as if the author wanted to eliminate Stuart granted in order to give way for Bryan to reconcile with Lenore.
In the second film, we no longer see the sights of Paris angles because Olivier Megaton brought us to Istanbul, Turkey, which was beautiful. Following the cancellation of the plan a vacation to China because of quarrel between Stuart and Lenore, Lenore and Kim then decided to follow Bryan Mills who were on duty in Turkey. While the state duty, Bryan spends his spare time to repair his relationship with Lenore. Old love had blossomed again. But, of course, this holiday will go smoothly and fun because it is ... Taken 2 (Kidnapped 2). The father of one of the 'villain' in the previous films were wiped out by Bryan, Murad Hoxha (Rade Šerbedžija), along with his cronies revenge. Bryan and Lenore kidnapped when middle stroll together in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. While the initial volumes of the abductee, Kim, had escaped. By Besson, Kim was placed as a 'sidekick' of Bryan.
Under the handling of Olivier Megaton, Taken 2 feels more like a continuation of Transporter 3 rather than a sequel to Taken. Look at how many megatons utilize helishot he had previously applied through the film, starring Jason Statham is. Or, how did he show car chase scene in the narrow alleys residential areas. Nuance Transporter is very pronounced. There is nothing wrong with this, fine. While still providing entertainment for the audience, why not? I own quite enjoyed it. But what I really regret is that the script made Kamen and Besson are very shallow and seemed to just repeat of what happened in the previous films. The tension no longer felt here. Also tend to be predictable plot. There is absolutely no restrain. Besson forget the script in order to bring more action scenes and a brighter tone. Occasionally successful, but often failed. That makes it difficult for me 2 Taken thoroughly enjoy is the 'villain' incredible stupid and weak.
Well, if I look at it from the positive side, this might be because they are against Bryan is described as someone who is superior, powerful, and deadly. However, to borrow from the words of young people today, "not so-so well kaleeee ....". No wonder the 21 Cineplex could label this film with 'All Age' on their website. Lha wong the antagonist here is unbelievable ridiculous like the villain in the movie for family consumption. The period also does not serve them to Kim who in fact are not given the ability to fight and drive qualified? Please! None of the dozens (or even decades) this guy looks dangerous and annoying. The scene ends with the climax was very easy because ... Ah, never mind. I suspect, the 'villain' is not watched Taken and berated Bryan origin without preparation. Grrrr ... Yet Taken 2 could potentially be a fun entertainment treat. Car chase scene of his pretty, and Maggie Grace look more tempting than ever (suit. .. suit ...). Unfortunately, the text of the lack of energy and the 'villain' is more often than make gemes laughter, ruin everything. Taken it should not be continued.
A SEPARATION

The film from the audience visited Iran six months ago after lifting the Oscar for the category 'Best Foreign Language Film', could be gempitanya bells will be felt. At that time, social networking busy talking about this movie. I am very forced to watch film made by Asghar Farhadi's through the laptop screen because pessimistic A Separation will visit Indonesia. If you read my post entitled '20 Best Film 2011 Version Cinetariz ', of knowing that the film is perched in first place. When a few days ago it was announced that A Separation up running, I was willing to travel overland for long hours in order to feel again satisfying cinematic experience for 2 hours on the big screen. You may be wondering, "how to segitunya for a movie?", But believe me, this film is well worth to be watched more than once. And if you call yourself a 'movie buff', 'movie freak', or whatever it's called, but it still has not seen A Separation until now, well ... What have you done to pass this seapik movie? A very big loss.
Is at the root of all conflict in A Separation is a divorce from Nader (Peyman Moaadi) and Simin (Leila Hatami). Farhadi's fifth straight to open the film with a rising tension over a fierce debate between Simin, Nader, and the sound of a camera represented judges opinion as if the audience is the judge, or sitting next to the judge. The two main characters giving stare. Simin Nader filed for divorce due to 'unwilling' invited Simin wants to leave Iran while their only daughter, Termeh (Sarina Farhadi), living in a healthy environment. Nader argued not want to leave his father who suffered from Alzheimer's disease. The judge also refused to grant the request Simin. The split took place, Simin bringing stuff home to her parents while living threes with Termeh Nader and his father. With the departure of his wife, then Nader also need someone to help care for his father. On the advice of Simin, Nader employs Razieh (Sareh Bayat). Less than three working days, Razieh has made the problem. Razieh went to see the doctor and left him in his room Nader bound. Nader knows this, he was furious. His anger was becoming unstoppable when knowing the money in the drawer rooms vanished participate.
Asghar Farhadi A Separation proves through, not necessarily the theme of a large, ambitious, and complicated to produce a film that can leave a lasting impression in the hearts of the audience. The issues here Farhadi shelled by not moving away from the common problems faced by the people of Tehran which may happen in other parts of the world. With this kind of the real picture, the audience so much easier to connect with what was to be presented by Farhadi. The main problem of the dozens of layers of issues highlighted through A Separation rooted in the selfishness of man. How does a divorce apparently a significant impact in the various lines of life of a family, or in this case two families. Termeh not be the only victim of divorce Simin and Nader. Divorce seemed to be the key to unlocking of a door that holds a stack of problems in your life. Simin, Nader, and Termeh hair had fallen still hit the stairs anyway. Various trials of life come and go incessantly post Simin decided to split up with her husband. Is this some kind of gift from God to His creatures who hated his deeds?
Manuscript concoction Farhadi extraordinary meeting. The audience is left struggling to follow the story line that extends all 123 minutes without for a moment left to breathe. Exhausting yes, but fun. Moreover, the audience is required to participate as long as the movie progresses. Farhadi not the kind of director who gives the audience an answer for any problem faced by each character. We are asked to solve it yourself. Just like a trial, the audience is in a position to judge or jury. Nader and Razieh is a defense attorney and prosecutor, to themselves. Simin, Termeh and Hodjat (Shahab Hosseini), Razieh husband whose temperament, as a witness. Each character is in a position of gray, Farhadi did not defend any of them, and submit entirely to us to determine who is at fault?
When the conflict between Nader and Razieh first time sticking, I'm pretty sure Razieh blame. He was careless in fulfilling its obligations as a nurse. But over the film, especially after knowing that Razieh was pregnant, the severity of his home life with Hodjat, and he was a religious, then I do not know to whom I should side with. My trepidation comes along with doubts arising from any character. Do I have to blame Hodjat and Simin who indirectly owns a large share of all these problems? Evidence for evidence emerged through intense conversations between the characters. The audience must concentrate to obtain the desired answer. At this stage, I also had to hand a Asghar Farhadi. Not something that amazes the judges gave Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay 'for the movie. Imagine, just to capitalize conflict arguably cliched and garrulous dialogue, A Separation could make me sit tight and tense throughout the film. Fuh, really brilliant.
PREMIUM RUSH

Rush to find a gas station nearby to get the 'Premium'. That is the core of the story ... the film was played on my mind today. Ha, of course, Premium Rush is not the confusion revolves around someone who is looking for premium gasoline tank because the car had been in a critical phase while he was being chased 'deadline' to complete a mission of great importance. The term 'Premium Rush' here means extra pay for bicycle couriers if able to complete the job quickly and accurately. By taking the New York City setting, the film made by David Koepp is trying to offer a different strain for you. If during this chase scene in an action film that you see often involve motor vehicles of cars, taxis, buses, or motor, then here, you will see the football exploits of cyclists. Or rather, the couriers in 'The Big Apple' that use bicycles as a means of transportation. Can you imagine how much flex penggowes see the tight race in the streets of New York are super dense with taxis and pedestrians everywhere. One little calculation, it can be fatal.
Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) using maps on the smart phone to track the location of a destination in style is manifested in the form of 3D animation. Adopting the style of Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes dwilogi where Sherlock strategy for the next few seconds is shown in slow motion, Koepp also present it in a manner more or less the same but Wilee got more options with a duration of 'Premonition' is shorter and shaped graphical display line markers. For events that occur in the film was actually only takes about two hours, starting from the first delivery at the beginning of the movie. In some scenes, Koepp flashback inserts to provide additional information to the audience. What is the core issue in Premium Rush is actually very simple, if you do not want to be called a cliché. Wilee called the best bike courier by his former girlfriend, Vanessa (Dania Ramirez), was tasked to deliver a secret package from Nima (Jamie Chung) in the form of an envelope. Thin and light, as if the object is not important. However, something that looks small and not as a threat, even making Wilee having the hardest days of his career as a courier.
After the summer ended, cinema film stock from drought adrenaline action. Finally, the spectators were treated to the fight with the zombies naughty Alice which of course you already know for yourself how my opinion about this movie from the reviews I've published a few days ago. Lucky to be there in spirit and hope of other genres that steps foot into the theaters was not stopped. After weeks of walking in peace, appear Premium Rush. You were expecting a spectacle with a depth of story and many almost perfection on all fronts, the film is not the right choice. David Koepp just want to invite you to have fun, around the city of New York with the adrenaline kept pumping throughout the film. It's a film that is exciting, fun, and exciting. That makes it pleasant to eat, Koepp memergunakan no green screen or CGI in order to bring polish to maximize the presentation of the 'wow' in the eyes, but felt empty not leave an impression. The players go directly to 'bicycle chase scene' that feels more real. The plot may be nothing special, and has been repeatedly found in other films, but Koepp accuracy in processing high bertensi action, slick appearance Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Shannon that makes me want to punch as well as a unique graphical display, make this movie fun to be enjoyed. The audience can feel the sensation of speeding bikes of the city without being equipped with brakes on Premium Rush.
