SOURCE CODE

What would you do if you have 8 minutes to return to the past? The premise is simple yet attractive and then translated into a complicated scenario by Ben Ripley. Summit Entertainment, which recently on the rise thanks to the success of Twilight Saga extraordinary genius Ripley tried to embody the idea to film the big screen. Appointed as a director is Duncan Jones, a British director who debuted with a sweet through the Moon. The film is touted to have similarities with Inception and Groundhog Day is put Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright as the main star. The most fun of the presence of Source Code is that I can go back to the theaters for weeks after a very lazy set foot there! Source Code which was originally forced to release this April penanyangannya delay slot to fill the empty summer movie. The right choice, 21.Source Code to start his story with Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) who wakes from a dream in a railway carriage. On the front there is a beautiful woman named Christina (Michelle Monaghan) who continue to talk to him. Colter did not understand what was said by Christina. Moreover, Christina continued to call him Sean. Colter stressed, he is not Sean. He is a military member stationed in Afghanistan. Christina feels weird. Confused, Colter headed to the toilet. When the mirror, he found himself in another person's body. What is happening? Not long after, the train went off and killed hundreds of people, including Christina and Sean. Then, what about the fate of Colter? He woke up in a small room which is very cool and comes with a plasma screen. Later revealed that Colter is on a mission. Goodwin (Vera Farmiga), a captain from the Air Force, asked Colter to find out who the perpetrators of the train bombings. How, through the Source Code. The new program design Dr. Rutledge (Jeffrey Wright) allows Colter to return to the past to 'borrow' a person's body in his last 8 minutes.
It takes a solid cooperation between a player, writer, director, editor up to the artistic styling. Ripley kedetailan script demands. Every detail has a meaning. This is where the director and editor must be careful in executing. Notice how the scene early in the wagon train to the repeated several times. Christina sitting position, the spilled coffee and train officers to check tickets. Neatly interwoven. Bit errors, fatal consequences. In these films, the editor is the most important role. Source Code repeatedly presents reps flashback. Paul Hirsch kudu stringing jelly in every scene, not to make it tangled and end up with a confused audience. For those of you who frequented the toilet when the movie was playing, it is advisable to complete 'back matter' before the movie starts. Miss a single minute alone is annoying. It takes concentration to watch it. Inception is not as complicated, but it requires thinking in order to digest the story.
Source Code is not the type of filler summer movie filled with action and explosions are awesome. Dish to show off special effects are still there, but not the main portion. More accurately described as a science-fiction / thriller. The tension has to offer, but Ripley was more fun to play elements of drama. This is what distinguishes it from Inception. Source Code is more 'calm' and 'warm' in his story. Ripley and Jones is not just open the identity of the Colter then forget about it, they try to dig deeper into the life of Colter including a variety of personal problems that washed over her. Precisely this is where the power of Source Code. Very rarely there is a science fiction movie / thriller that brought the audience to the main character. Consequently, an emotional bond was formed. Sympathy appears, the audience was touched and made to feel familiar with Colter. Voila, the film can dikatan succeed. A most touching moment was when Colter achieved his dream to be able to speak with his father. Colter had said, if he has one minute remaining in his life, he would call his father and apologized to him. Tissue, please ..Does that mean the Source Code actually end up being a drama tears drain? Ah, take it easy, not like that. At first glance, Source Code has the potential to be a boring movie because it kept repeating the last 8 minutes before the train explodes. The same assumption as I would like to see Vantage Point. Of Ripley, Jones and his team will not let that happen. Is on the contrary. Although always repeat the same scene, is not identical in fact, the film would be even more fun to follow. Ripley's genius, Hirsch accuracy, versatility and of course Don Burgess expertise of Jones, is the key. Ripley process the script in such a way, always add spice in every minute for Source Code increasingly felt delicious to eat. Do not forget to insert the little twist. Burgess took any pictures with beautiful detail. Hirsch makes Kekompakannya with Ripley script is not in vain and it makes it even more attractive. Jones should be proud of the hard work of his team
